The Lucky Duck Shop is a one-of-a-kind collectible rubber duck store, hundreds of themed, novelty, and celebrity ducks sold online and from its retail storefront at 2626 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg, Florida. When the brand launched, it faced two challenges at once: build an online store that could actually sell in a niche shoppers didn’t yet know to search for, and drive real foot traffic to a brand-new physical location.
That meant winning search for everything from broad terms like “rubber ducks for sale” to hyper-local ones like “rubber duck store in St. Pete”, and turning a fun, highly visual brand into content that spreads. The goal was simple: grow online sales and get more people through the front door.
DigiSphere designed and built the Ecommerce website and runs the full program, ecommerce SEO, local search, Google Business Profile, and social media marketing, with tracking in place to measure both online orders and in-store discovery.
ECommerce completed orders. Year 1 = May 2024–Apr 2025; Year 2 = May 2025–Apr 2026. Best sellers include The Florida Duck, Bull Duck, and Moose Duck.
A Ecommerce site structured around themed collections and hundreds of product pages, optimized to rank for the huge range of duck searches shoppers actually use.
Blog guides and collection pages, "ducks for jeeps," holiday ducks, celebrity ducks, that capture search demand and feed the store's growth.
Google Business Profile management and local SEO to own "duck store near me" in the St. Pete area and drive directions, calls, and visits.
Scroll-stopping Reels and shorts across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube that turn a photogenic product into reach and repeat customers.
From a standing start, the store's monthly Google impressions grew from under 60 to more than a quarter-million, while its average position climbed from the mid-30s to the top of page one. That visibility now spans broad and niche duck searches alike.
