The story behind the numbers
Told by Steve Natowski
VP of Client Success · manages the Majeski Wheel Restoration account
If you've ever scraped a rim on a curb, you know exactly what happens next. You pull out your phone, search for wheel repair, and call one of the first shops you see on the map. Eric's shop in Northern Virginia does excellent work, but when we started he only had four reviews and wasn't showing up where those calls happen.
So we went after the local pack. We optimized for wheel repair, refinishing, and curb rash searches, built up the Google Business Profile so searches turned into calls, and paired that with five-star reviews and before-and-after content on social, which is really the best advertising a wheel shop can have.
Comparing last winter to this past summer, calls from his Google profile went from 33 a quarter to 117, website clicks from Google went from 101 to 326, and search clicks were up 132%. He's #2 for "wheel repair," which gets about 14,800 searches a month, and #2 for "alloy rim refurbishment." Reviews went from 4 to 26, every one of them five stars.
